INSTALLATION TOOLS
Phillips Screwdriver
The ALPHAREX PRO-Series, LUXX-Series, and NOVA-Series headlights designed for the 2005-11 Toyota Tacoma come equipped with 3 LED strips on the headlights by default. Customers have the option to enable or disable these 3 LED strips according to their preference.
For customers who wish to retain the 3 LED strips, no action is required.
For customers who do not want the 3 LED strips, please follow the steps below.
OPEN THE HEADLIGHT’S CIRCUIT BOARD
Unscrew the three Phillips screws located on the bottom of the headlight.
UNPLUG 2 PIN CONNECTOR
Once the circuit board is exposed, unplug the 2-pin connector (RED and BLACK wires) and leave it unplugged.
COMPLETE STEPS TO DISABLE 3 LED STRIPS
Reinstall the circuit board onto the headlight by securing it with the 4 Phillips screws.
Repeat these steps for the other side of the headlight.
